Volunteer to the Darkness is a gripping tale of survival and sacrifice, following Jose, a young man from South America, as he embarks on a perilous journey to the United States in search of a better life with his love, Lucia. Upon arriving in Los Angeles, Jose is met with harsh realities and endless obstacles, but the promise of U.S. citizenship drives him forward.
